The 20ml envelopes (like the buffer on 20ml calibrator EC 12880 μS) are for single use.
To calibrate with the buffer on 20ml EC 12880 μS calibrator, put the calibration envelope in a glass (to avoid the envelope falling and the waste of its contents). Open the envelope, cutting the upper part of the envelope (1 cm below the stop) with the system easy to open or with scissors.
The calibration can be manual or automatic.
In case of manual calibration with the buffer on 20ml calibrator EC 12880 μS, turn on your meter, put the meter or the electrode inside the envelope, shake slightly to facilitate the reading of the buffer by the meter, and, with the help of the calibration screwdriver or of the calibration roulette (depending on model) adjust the data of your screen to the data indicated in the buffer.
In case of automatic calibration with the buffer on 20ml calibrator EC 12880 μS, follow the instructions of the manual of your meter. The way to calibrate will depend on each type of meter.
